St. Francis Wood Remodel

It took three phases to complete this house supporting a family of five.

Phase one, the ground level, involved excavating the floor downwards to create more headroom. Heightening the story allowed us to create a family room, guest room, bath and a storage room. A new deck off the family room completed this phase, which occurred while the family lived on the second and third floor levels.

Phase two involved remodeling three bedrooms and two bathrooms on the third floor of the house, during which the family lived on the ground and second floors.

For the third phase, we remodeled the kitchen, breakfast, dining and living rooms. Though the family had to divide living between the ground floor and the third floor during this phase, they appreciated being able to stay in their home and enjoyed seeing the remodeling process.
